RETURN POLICY

You have 30 days to contact us about a return. If 30 days have gone by since your order delivery/pick up, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

All return requests will be handled on a case by case basis. Not every product is eligible for return for sanitary reasons and we strongly discourage returns because of the environmental impact of reverse shipping. Over 5 billion pounds of waste is created annually due to reverse shipping!

We ask that our customers use what they have, buy what they need, and ask LOTS of questions to make well-educated purchasing decisions. We strongly encourage you to read our product descriptions, ingredient lists, and care instructions thoroughly. If you have any questions, please email us prior to purchasing.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be undamaged, unused (tamper stickers intact), in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.

If you would like to return an item in exchange for a different item (of another size, colour, etc.), it is the customers responsibility to cover the cost to ship the original item back to us. Once received, if applicable, we will adjust for the difference in cost by either issuing a refund or invoicing for any additional cost. The cost to ship the exchanged item is the responsibility of the customer. 

Some products are exempt from being returned due to the nature of the product. This includes any of the shampoo and conditioner bars and soap bars. Gift cards are an additional non-returnable item.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to us without speaking to us first! 

We do still want you to be happy with and excited about your purchase, so if you have an issue, please email hello@greenroombody.com. 

Incorrect, damaged or lost goods

If we shipped the wrong item to you by mistake, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt at hello@greenroombody.com. Please provide your order number, and a photo of the incorrect product. We will ship the correct item at no additional cost.  

If you received damaged products, save all contents and packing material and contact us within 5 business day of receipt at hello@greenroombody.com. Please provide your order number, and a photo of the damaged product and shipping materials to ensure speedy customer service response time.

Failure to contact us within 5 business days voids any responsibility we may have had for incorrect or damaged goods.

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at hello@greenroombody.com so that we can initiate communication with the courier. Delays are common and investigations into missing packages takes time. We have a grace period of four weeks from shipment date to allow for shipping delays and investigations to officially declare your order as missing and refunding you in full. 

REFUND POLICY (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are were received defective or damaged or if applicable, became defective within the warranty period. Please see our Warranty Policy. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@greenroombody.com and we will sort you out! 

Shipping
To return your product, please email hello@greenroombody.com to find out where you should mail your product to. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping a package valued over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
